There's no doubt that many men would like to increase their muscle mass while on a green coffee diet. However, since gym memberships and equipment can be expensive and cardio activities are usually more of a priority during a weight loss plan, muscle strength can sometimes be left on the back burner.
Luckily, there are several free body weight exercises that men can do in their own homes that can improve reactiveness, balance and mobility, as well as help them get into great shape. Here are three of the best ones for guys to try out:
You probably remember doing these during high school gym class, but sometimes the basics are best for body strength. To refresh your memory, all you need to do for a standard pull-up is to grip the bar with your hands, then use your back and arms to pull yourself up until your chin makes its way past the bar. Then, safely lower your arms to return to the starting position. After several repetitions of this exercise, you will start to feel the burn in your upper back and arms.
Getting great leg and glute muscles doesn't have to require fancy machines when all you need to do is lunge. To perform this exercise, grab some dumbbells in each hand with your arms hanging straight at your sides. Move your right leg forward, hold the pose for a couple of seconds and then return to the starting position. Continue with the other leg, doing 12 repetitions on each side.
All you need to do to get a great upper-body workout is grab a workout mat and do some solid push-ups. Try to aim for 20 to 30 repetitions or more starting out, then slowly work your way up. Keep your abdominals tight during this exercise to help strengthen your stomach muscles.
