Most of us have a sweet tooth and sometimes it can be hard to fend off. However, a new study by the University of Minnesota found that people who work in disorganized spaces are more likely to choose unhealthy snacks than those in organized workspaces.
The goal of the study was to see how people are affected by orderliness. To complete the study, 34 Dutch students were assigned to a neat or messy office and then given the option of choosing an apple or chocolate bar on their way out the door.
According to the results of the study, people who are in an organized workspace are more likely to make decisions that are good for them.
